netpipe-mpich2 software package provides Network performance tool using MPICH2 MPI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install netpipe-mpich2
netpipe-mpich2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the netpipe-mpich2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netpipe-mpich2 *
You will get with netpipe-mpich2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
